Pet care experience
Hey Y'all ! Thanks for stopping by. I have experience with all breeds and sizes. I started offering boarding services to the adopters of the rescue group I foster with in April of 2023. I have fostered 7 dogs and have a resident dog of my own. My house is low traffic and we love having doggie company! I have worked on basic training, have administered meds and have even done poop testing. I am always reading up on things dog related to gain knowledge that could be helpful for any dog.
Reviews
Both Kelce and I loved Leigh. She showed Kelce so much love when we met for the first time and Kelce loved her back! I will definitely recommend and will continue to work with her.
I recently hired Leigh to walk my begeal , and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. Not only were the prices reasonable, but my furry friend was always ecstatic after each walk. Leigh’s expertise in animal care was evident, and her genuine love for my dog shone through in every interaction. I highly recommend Leigh to anyone in need of a reliable and knowledgeable dog walker!
Leigh is a nurturing, knowledgeable and wonderful person. She never runs out of solutions for puppy problems and truly has her heart in the right place for this kind of work. My dog and I are blessed to have crossed paths with her. I highly recommend her, without reservation, to care for any dog and I rely on her for the same.
Leigh is a remarkable caretaker for dogs of all breeds and sizes. She possesses a deep understanding of dog behavior. She has a keen intuition when it comes to reading their body language and responding appropriately to their needs. Whether it's recognizing signs of anxiety or knowing when a dog wants to play, she always knows how to engage with them in a way that fosters trust and comfort. Leigh prioritizes the well-being of every dog under her care, ensuring they are always in a safe and secure environment and following any specific instructions provided by the owners. We never leave our dog with anyone else!

Information Leigh P. would like to know about your pet
Let me know if there is anything I can do to make your dog comfortable. Personality traits, which commands they know and are working on, what routines at home I can implement in my home, any social concerns.
A typical day
Wake up about 7am. Go out for potty in the yard. Take my 13yr old to school at 7:50am ( dogs included) return around 8:15am and have breakfast outside on the deck ( if weather permits ), if not we eat inside. If the day is nice we will play outside for about an hour -2 hours. Anything from fetch, bubbles, “ready,go” which is a game I like to teach for patience and mental stimulation by throwing treats in the yard to sniff out. If we need to stay inside due to weather we will play inside with endless toys for about an hour -2, then go out for a potty break. Rest/nap inside on the couch, bed or numerous dog beds I have for about 2 hours. Back outside for potty and if dogs walk well on leash together we will attempt a short 15 min walk and then some nice sun bathing on the deck. Pick up my son from school who then loves on every dog until dinner. Dinner for dogs is approx 6:30-7pm. Then outside for potty and play until about 8pm. Last call is about 9pm-9:30pm. I will work with any dog on basic commands and if weather permits I love to take my dog to brooks and areas where he can be on a long lead to explore nature.
