We are adopting a rescue January 2021 so I will be taking a break from hosting in my home, but I am happy to care for your pup in your home. If you are a previous client, feel free to contact me to see if I will make an exception. Very flexible! Headed to the Adirondacks, Lake Placid, Lake George, or Saratoga Springs for vacation?? Going out for the day to the track, tubing, or anywhere not pet-friendly for the day? Or just need some extra help with your new puppy or senior dog while you’re at work? I am convenient to the Lake George area; fairly convenient to Saratoga Springs and willing to meet at any exit on the Northway (Route 87) from exit 13 to 23. I have owned dogs all my life with experience ranging from smaller to larger breeds; laid back to high energy breeds as well as some special needs. I treat all dogs in my care as if they were my own from snuggle time to play time to walking. I will be in tune with your dog's needs and notify you of any changes in behavior. I live just inside the Adirondack Park with lots of access to water and mountains. I can walk your family member around your neighborhood or mine. I do not have a fenced in yard but do have a dog line and enclosed deck for those sun-loving pooches.

Highly recommended! Leigh was awesome to our Ausiie-Lily. She took care of her for four nights. We received updates and pictures regularly while Lily was there. She responds promptly and efficiently to our texts. She is knowledegable, kind, and very pleasant to deal with.
I would highly recommend Leigh to take good care of your dog. Our 3 yo mini Aussie was with her for 9 days while we were vacationing nearby. She was a great communicator, was flexible and responsive, and went the extra mile to make us and our dog comfortable. Thank you so much, Leigh!

A typical day
I live just inside the Adirondack Park with lots of access to water and mountains. I can take your family member swimming, kayaking, hiking or a leisurely stroll around the park, your neighborhood or mine. For those less active, I have an enclosed deck for those sun-loving pooches that comes equipped with umbrellas as well.

I work from home leaving my schedule fairly flexible, however since I have my own dogs and other obligations, I am better suited for short periods of time.
