Hi there - I'm Leigh and I'm the mom of a family of six (plus Luna our mixed Lab/Shepard and Imogene our Lab/Cav mix). I grew up with dogs (Labs) and have had my own pups for the last ten years. Currently I have two fur babies named Luna (3) and Imogene (1.5) and we lost our old boy Ben Ben (a 14 year old boxer) a year ago. I believe dogs are a part of our family and I would love to care for yours while you are away from your home. I am happy to take all breeds of dogs, whether that's for one night or a whole week.

Leigh and John once again took great care of our 2-yr old pup, Arya for 4 nights in June '23. We liked the daily update photos showing Arya alternately playing in the nice fenced yard with their own dog Luna, and then chilling with her.

I have a fenced in yard and the dogs can roam freely around the house. Dogs aren't allowed on the furniture but I am happy to have owners bring dog beds (or crates), whichever is your preference. Your dog will be around people all day and night, rarely being alone for more than an hour or two during the day.

I have four kids (ages 5-12), all of which have grown up around dogs and know how to be respectful of animals and their space. I do however only take dogs that are good with children. We also have our own dogs and will be happy to have the company. I ask that your fur babies are good with other dogs as well. I would love to know your pups normal schedule and we'll work to stick with it, including rules you want followed or things to work on.
A typical day
I can go on walks each day with your pup, we can play fetch, and the dogs can go outside whenever they want. Your fur babies will be snuggled and loved all day. I am also happy to help work on obedience cues (such as sit, lay, shake, etc. with treat rewards).

Availability
I work from home all day, every day, so your pup will have as many potty breaks as they need, as well as plenty of play time with both our pups and our kids.
