Pet care experience
I owned a small rescue dog for 6 years. I had a community of friends with other small dogs. We house sat for each other as needed and between 3 owners and 4 dogs, we had lots of play dates together. I am very patient and overall, love being around animals. My dog passed in 2020, and although I am not ready to have a dog again, I still enjoy taking care of other dogs.

Leigh has been doing drop-in visits for over six months, and this is her second time dog sitting for us. She is communicative and reliable, and more importantly, she does a great job with our anxious pup. She gets her to eat and relax when we are away and gives her lots of attention and pets, which helps ease our anxiety. She is also very conscientious about our space and left the apartment clean! 100% recommend.
My kitty was in great hands with Leigh! She was extremely responsive and sent great pics. She went above and beyond and brought a package of mine inside which I so appreciate! Highly recommend.

Availability
I currently offer drop ins and housesitting. I work part time so I have a flexible schedule some days of the week. You may see that my most recent work was in Brooklyn, NC. I successfully worked part time with many repeat clients until I moved back to NC last winter. Now that I am more grounded from this transition, I’m excited to be offering let care services once again.
