Pet care experience
I have a lifetime of animal experience. Growing up, I had a Border terrier who I adored, took everywhere with me, and trained to do a variety of useful (sit, wait, down) and not-so-useful (rollover, play dead) tricks. Currently I don't have a dog of my own, which means I would love to hang out with yours and give them all my attention. For the last few years, I have taken care of friends' dogs and cats while they were away and walked roommates' dogs when they were busy. I have experience feeding, walking, cleaning up after, and giving medicines to both cats and dogs. I have also worked with horses for 15+ years, so even the biggest and strongest dog is no match for me!

Leigh would be the ideal dog walker! She is responsible and reliable, and loves walking and hanging out with dogs! I would have her walk or sit my dogs any time!
Leigh is an amazing caregiver and I would always trust her to watch my pup! She is very responsible and a great communicator, she always made me feel comfortable and at ease whenever I would leave my pup in her care! I cannot recommend her enough!
Leigh is definitely a furry pet lover. I know that ever since she was a child, she had a dog that she would care for up until his old age. I have a dog myself and my dog is really good when Leigh is around him. Leigh is super patient and understanding with dogs. She will not snap at my dog if jumps on her and always keeps calm. Leigh is also caring and respectful to dogs. She doesn’t hesitate to be playful with them or give them their space if needed. I believe Leigh is a great to become a dog walker because she has more than enough to give and care for dogs.

Availability
I'm a graduate student who is working only part-time this summer, so I have a flexible schedule. I am generally available afternoons and evenings, and am even more available if you live close to campus. Walking dogs is a bright spot in my otherwise busy, academic day.
