Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and trained my own pup. He has since passed and now I spend my time house/petsitting for friends and family, giving their dogs all of the love and helping to train where needed.

Leigh always does such a wonderful job with our lil guy. She is one of like three people he actually enjoys. We are beyond grateful for her patience, attention, and TLC.
Leigh always lets me relax when I go out of town. She is so sweet with my senior cat and administers his medication perfectly. He’s always so relaxed when I come home.
Just wonderful! Remi just loved her. We could relax and know that Remi was taken care of.
Fantastic experience! One of our dogs was extra nervous because of a hail storm & staying with someone new. Leigh was very attentive & communicative & stayed in touch with me to make sure things were ok. It made me feel better that our sitter was in tune with our dogs’ needs & moods. 🙂

My focus is on following your pet's lead. If they are interested in interaction/play/excitement, I'm here for it. If they're quiet or lower energy, I can give more relaxing/calming pets. Sometimes, all they want is human presence while they sit quietly in their spot. I want them to feel safe in their space while simultaneously ensuring their needs are met.

Let me know if there's anything I can do to make your pet feel more at ease. If they have favorite toys, games, or locations (like a local dog park) I'm more than happy to accommodate! If you would like me to reinforce commands, just let me know your preferences and we'll work on them. Any heads-up about your pet's disliked actions or bodily areas, wariness with strangers or other animals are also appreciated. (For example, if they have a tender stomach or don't like their nose touched).
A typical day
I'll walk the dog to their heart's content :) I'll let them sniff, play games, and interact until they burn off that excited energy. If you let me know their trained commands ahead of time I can reinforce them while I'm with your pet.

I'm currently in graduate school and appreciate the opportunity to break and simultaneously snuggle pets. I love cats and dogs equally and have always considered time with pets to be the most rewarding.
