I am good with most dogs but would not do well with a dog who is nippy or bites. Most of my experience is with the larger dogs but have had some with smaller puppies, a toy poodles . Every dog is different and every dog is wonderful in his/her own way. I do love them. I need for them to be potty trained. Accidents happen but I need them to be potty trained for the most part. I have a cat who is a real scaredy cat. I would need for a dog that can learn quickly to leave her alone, I can separate them if I do go out but hate to do that for the entire visit. I appreciate it if you can bring the puppy's crate when he/she comes to stay. The only time that I would use the crate is when I am asleep so that I know that he/she is comfortable and will not get into mischief while I sleep. I look to you to provide his food and share with me the feeding routine that you want for your puppy. I will will follow it per your instruction. If you bring a longer leash or chain, I can let them run out a bit more. I will not leave dogs chained outside by themselves for a number of reasons. I can let them run on the length of the chain a bit when I take them outside. That gives them a little more freedom to get some exercise.

I promise to walk your dog (on his leash) at regular intervals and include at least one longer walk a day (30 - 45 minutes weather permitting). I will play fetch or tug of war in the apartment with them but not outside because I do not want them to run away. If they enjoy hugs and petting, they will get hugs and pets galore.
