Pet care experience
I’ve owned dogs, cats, and many other pets since I was a toddler! I’ve been pet sitting since I was a teenager, and I am currently working at a doggy daycare, so I am well-versed in the world of dog boarding and care! I am also a third-year veterinary student at Mizzou, so I have spent a lot time learning about what your pet may need medically, and I know what potential issues to look out for! I am also experienced with administering many kinds of medications. I have also owned a diabetic dog in the past, so I know how to administer insulin.

While watching your pet(s) at your home, I am available to walk your pet(s), feed them, and hang out with them! I am happy to study and do my school work from your home as much as possible in order to spend more time with your pet(s).

Please let me know about your pet’s medical needs before I watch them. I am a current vet student, so I am comfortable with handling and caring for many kinds of pets with various conditions! Also, please let me know how often your pet needs to be let out, so I can see if my schedule allows for the frequency of needed potty breaks!
A typical day
I love to go on hikes on the trails around Columbia, and I have taken the dogs I’ve watched before on these trails! I am also an avid runner, so if your dog likes to run, I would love to take them with me!

Availability
I am currently completing my clinical rotations for veterinary school, so I may be working at the hospital for 8-12 hours a day depending on the case load/rotation (this includes some weekends). So, my house sitting services would best work for pets that can spend extended periods of time on their own and/or pets that have someone else to care for them during the day.
