My partner and I owned PupSitterYYC in Calgary for a year before moving to BC where we provided boarding services and had great success. I also previously volunteered with the Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation in Calgary, AB. At the shelter I gained experience through walking the dogs, building trust with them, playing with them, feeding them, cleaning their bowls and kennels and sometimes administering oral medications prescribed by the vet. I have also assisted with vetting clinics and transportation between appointments and foster homes. In doing so, I have had the opportunity to work with many different types of dogs. I prefer smaller dogs as I tend to get pulled around a bit by the bigger guys, although I love them all! I am also comfortable walking in all weather conditions if that’s what your dog would like to do! I enjoy being outside and going for walks! I am very trustworthy and I will treat any dog in my care as my own. My family owned two dogs when I was very young, and I have had many friends and family members that own/owned dogs as well. I love animals and really enjoy the connections I make. I am available any time! I just relocated to BC and do not have any full time commitments at this time. I am hoping to get back into working with pets! I always treat any animal in my care as if they were part of my family. I will follow the routine your personal currently has to maintain consistency.
