I've spent years helping elderly neighbors, globe-hopping friends, and overwhelmed family members take care of their pets. And now my services are available to you! My years of experience prove that I can take care of pets in all shapes and sizes. I can handle pets with medical needs, mobility issues, and stubborn personalities. Before I get started I'll talk extensively with each mom or dad to make sure I have all the information I need to handle emergencies, follow established training protocols, and make the fur babies happy. Even if we're just going for a nice walk in the park. I love taking care of animals, and I would be delighted to be a part of helping every member of your family lead happier, healthier lives.

Leigh took care of our little pup Charlotte several times while we were away on vacation. She made sure Charlotte was well cared for and kept us updated on how she was doing. Leigh has taken care of my little Persian, Ms. B, for both short periods, like a day or two, to longer times, like a week. Above doing the basic function, like insuring food, water and litter box cleaning Leigh provides personal attention to ensure Ms. B's emotional well being.
Leigh has been a part of my dog's life for the last 5 years. When he is in her care, she plan fun new things for him to do as well as his favorite walks and toys. She knows his training and always reinforces it with an eye for his safety. He typically loses it when he sees her because he knows that extra snuggles and treat are coming. I am happy to travel to your home so your fur babies can stick to their schedule in an environment that they know and love. I'm also happy to take them for walks - both around the block and at the secondary locations that you approve. (Dog parks, dog-friendly public spaces, the backyard of their second favorite relative, etc.)

It's important for me to know what your dog's boundaries are first. Every animal is different, and in order for your pet to trust me, it's important for me to know what makes them them. Whether that's what they like, what they're trying to learn, and what drives them nuts. An overall idea of your current family dynamic, their current medical issues, and what treats they're allowed are also important.
A typical day
I have crawled over every dog park and every dog-friendly public park in the county. I know which drive thrus give the best free pup cups and which ones simply gush over cute puppies and tell them how good they are. When the weather is good, my preferred haunts are Bow Wow Beach and Wingfoot Lake Dog Park. The public trails off of John Brown Tannery State Park are also wonderful.

With my current part-time schedule, I'm available in the morning after 6:00am. I'm interested in focusing on clients who need walks and physical exercise, but I'd be interested a possible long-term sitting for the right client.
