I have had dogs my entire life, I love them very much, and I am currently caring for three now. I have been around all breeds and sizes, I love them all. I have worked and loved working at an Animal Hospital as an assistant vet technician, here on the island. I have previously house sat/ dog sat on three occasions for more than a week at a time. And I will take care of any dog like they are my own. I love the presence of animals in my life, and would love the opportunity to help you and your family care for your pet! I understand the importance of a pet and know they are just like family, so I will do my very best to treat them as such.

Lehua watched and cared for our aging Beagle Bailey and cat S'more on a few occasions. She is a natural with pets and loves all animals. Lehua is someone who can be trusted to be caring and conscientious with your pets. I always loved that when I would see Lehua outside of having her care for our pets that she would ask "How is Bailey?" showing she truly cared for my dog. It was not just a job to her. Lehua has interest in becoming a veterinarian some day and has also worked for a local vet. You cannot go wrong in hiring Lehua to responsibly care for and love your dog.
Lehualani is great! I had her dog-sit my three year old golden retriever for seven days while I was off island. I made a huge mistake of not having enough food for my dog for the week but Lehua went out and bought food for him! I paid her back of course but the fact that she went out of her way to do that was amazing!! I would highly recommend Lehua to you if you need your dog to be watched! She will definitely be the one I call for my next trip!

Just the basics of how comfortable the owner feels, what does the dog enjoy doing, does it have favorite toys, how potty trained is he/ she, does he/ she have her shots? And I do not have a breed preference.
A typical day
I will play with him or her as much as possible! Walk them whenever I have time and as much as they can handle. Even just spend time with them just in their presence!
