Pet care experience
I am a freelance artist working from home. I've always had plenty of animals my whole life living with my parents (cats, dogs, snakes, lizards, parrots, fish, hamsters). I currently live with one roommate and two cats. It's really great but I definitely have a dog shaped hole in my heart. I would like to be able to help out pet parents while having some time with furry companions. In the past, I have volunteered as a dog walker for the Humane Society where I walked multiple dogs of all different breeds, ages, and sizes. I also did volunteer work in a pet store where I assisted with dog bathing and cleaning animal cages/terrariums. My only restrictions with dogs are any large dogs that are leash-pullers as I'm quite small and have a hard time stopping large dogs from walking me.

Leesa stayed at my house and took care of my Rottweiler mix Maxwell for a week while I was away for work. She did an absolutely terrific job. When she came to meet him before the stay I could see that they bonded immediately. She was very conscientious about caring for Maxwell and my place. It was easy to communicate with her while I was away and she sent lots of cute photos. She even made sure that Maxwell got out for his walks during a terrible ice storm that went on for several days. I will definitely use Leesa as a sitter again - I recommend her very highly!
Leesa was absolutely fantastic with our Bella. She has a great energy and Bella loved her right away. We loved all of the adorable photo updates she sent us while we were away. Since Bella is a pug, we left some specific ear and facial care instructions, and when we came home her ears and wrinkles were both very clean! Would definitely work with her again!
Leesa has always had dogs in her home since she was born. From chihuahuas to german shepherds. Leesa is very knowledgeable about dogs as her mother has been in the pet industry for a long time. Leesa is extremely loving and caring towards all dogs and all dogs react to her immediately in a positive way. I have left leesa to look after my dogs when I go away and trust her 100%

A typical day
I absolutely love being outdoors in general so your dog will definitely be enjoying multiple walks and playing in the park! There is a dog park by my apartment but if your dog is full of energy, Trinity Bellwoods park is within walking distance and I love it there! All dogs will be spoiled with pets and bellyrubs (or not, if they're not into that).
