I have a Great Dane myself - he’s my second and I’ve fostered over a dozen others - so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes, especially large (giant?) dogs. I continually train rules and boundaries with my pup and pride myself on our strong relationship and trust - your pup will thrive with us, I’m sure of it! And while my Dane is pretty lazy and he’s happy to have a cuddle buddy, I am a runner and have previously worked with DC Dog Runner to run dogs for 30-60 minutes at a time so i’ll be sure your pup gets all the exercise he/she needs. Have a small dog? Even better! My Dane loves the littles the most! His best dog friend is a senior mini-dachshund! I am a career healthcare administrator taking some time off right now and I know how hard it is to leave your dog with someone else while you’re away for the day, night, or longer. I appreciate the trust you are giving me and hope to make your life a bit easier by giving you peace of mind that your dog is being well taken care of.

Leeanne was so flexible and really helped me out by providing last minute care for my pup! Silas had a great time hanging out with her and Jude- I felt like she cared for my dog like her own and she was very easy to communicate and work with. Will definitely be booking a walk with Leeanne again!

I am close to Rock Creek Park, Meridian Hill & Kalorama so there are lots of options around for leashed walks, and long lead play. I have a medium sized crate but am happy to take your crate so your pup is comfy. Special requests or questions? just ask!

Your dog must be OK around large dogs. I will walk them separately but they will coexist in my condo. Please let me know what things your dogs likes and doesn’t so I can make sure they are comfortable.
A typical day
I am close to Rock Creek Park, Meridian Hill & Kalorama so there are lots of options around for leashed walks, and long lead play. We can also do some inside brain stimulation with treats and kongs

I am taking a break from the corporate working world right now so my days are very flexible. I'm typically up early to work out and then play the day by ear depending on the weather and what adventures sound good that day.
