Pet care experience
I have many years experience with many different animals - dogs, cats, parrots, chickens, geese, goats, sheep, rabbits, reptiles, you name it. From growing up with livestock and working dogs in the rural PNW, to farm work, to years of paid pet-sitting all over the great city of Chicago (as well as a big sweet rescue cat in my home), I have an affinity for animals wherever I go. I'm down to earth, easygoing, responsible, and bond quickly with creatures great and small. I'm available for both drop-in visits and pet sitting in your home, and in addition to my long weekday afternoons and evenings, have extra-long weekends that I can devote to giving your best friend the companionship, walks, belly scratches, and TLC they need. I also have quite the green thumb and am happy to give attention to your plant babies as well!

Lee is an incredibly caring and considerate person. He puts so much thought into everything he does. His soft spot and respect for animals is very apparent. You would be very lucky to have him care for pet.
Lee's the best! He did a combo of house sitting and watching Porkchop while I was away meaning he babysat Porkchop 24/7. Now, Porkchop is six years old but he acts like he's six months old, so he requires a lot of play and exercise even though he's small! Lee took him on walks, communicated with me if he had any questions(Porkchop's a little eccentric), played with him, made sure he was fed and watered(Porkchop's a grazer), and gave him his daily snacks as advised! Porkchop loves him! Highly recommend Lee for any pet services you need!
I'm not sure who gets more anxious when I have to leave my furry child with a sitter—me or them. It's especially nerve-wracking when you have to trust someone new. When I came home after the first sit with Lee, I was worried when I wasn't immediately greeted by a speeding furball at the door. I turned the corner into the living room and... they were on the couch, asleep on Lee's lap. Such a new experience. No signs of lingering anxiety afterward. Lee is a real whisperer. Bonus: He understood that I use gender neutral pronouns for my child and never slipped up once. 5/5 stars!
Lee is amazing! When I first adopted my cat, my biggest concern was finding a loving, trustworthy sitter. I feel so lucky to have found Lee. I travel regularly, and my shy six-year-old tuxedo cat requires twice daily feedings and lots of attention while I’m gone. Lee is kind, attentive, tidy, and responsible. He’s an excellent communicator — he sends super cute photos and plenty of updates — and my cat is always thrilled to see him. 10/10!
