I am the friend who is always first to volunteer to pet sit and now want to do that for you! I travel as a musician so I don’t have any pets of my own yet, but I love animals and have plenty to give to yours while you’re away. SPECIAL SKILLS EXPERIENCE: I’ve given cats daily shots, helped continue puppy training, taken care of older disabled dogs, and house sat for weeks with three pups at a time. For anxious pets, I’ve been told that dogs and cats who typically respond to their owners’ absence with digestive, food, or behavioral issues had no trouble with me! I try to make sure that their routine stays stable so that they feel safe and cared for even though they’re with a stranger. I work from home most days (and can do so from yours if housesitting) and on others I can bring small dogs with me to the studio so I’m able to give pets extra companionship. My days are flexible and can accommodate your pet's schedule. I’m great for walks, hikes, and dog park runs or just hanging out. I always feel like the pets I pet sit are my little buddies at the end of it--we get into a routine, follow each other around, and just form a little mini pack-bond :). When I'm not house-sitting, I'm Airbnb'ing so I'm always taking care of someone else's home with respect and care as if it's my own. I'm great at caring for plants as well and am available to help with mail, packages, etc. For the pets, I follow the owners' lead on their interaction with other dogs, hiking, etc. We can discuss any concerns or preferences, just send me a message!
