Pet care experience
New to Rover with 20 years of experience. Available for weekend boarding. Open to longer stays for repeat customers. I've had dogs my entire adult life. I have experience with small, medium, and large dogs that range from young to senior. I've trained my own dogs from basic to advanced obedience, agility, and dock diving. I volunteered for a lab rescue providing foster care for eight dogs and evaluated interested adopters. My min pin mix was a therapy dog for seven years with over 200 volunteer hours logged. I've also cared for rabbits, turtles, snakes, fish, and birds in where I taught environmental education. I enjoy walking around the neighborhood with dogs and visiting local parks.

Leanne knows her pets. She will take care of your pets like they are her own. Which means she will know each of her clients pets likes and dislikes. She will know what each pet needs and make sure they are happy and healthy. I can not recommend Leanne more highly than saying I trust my boys with her and have no worries about their welfare or safety.
I highly recommend Leanne for your pet sitting needs! She was a huge help for a last minute request in August to take care of my senior jack Russell mix, Riley. She communicated regularly with updates and pics of Riley. She was understanding when Riley had a couple accidents. Riley had a blast and I knew she was in good hands! I would definitely book again.

I treat my dogs like family. I currently have one dog (13 year old lab mix, Linus) and there is room for doggy friends to visit! I live in a duplex at the end of a cul-de-sac. We have access to a small unfenced yard and the neighborhood is very walkable to several Olympia City parks.

A typical day
I like to mix up active walking time with cuddle time. Neighborhood walks are always part of the daily routine. There is also the possibility of meeting the neighborhood horses (behind a fence!), visiting a local park, and napping on the couch.

Availability
I primarily work from home, with my dog Linus. Our current schedule is potty walk between 7-8am, followed by breakfast, then a 1-2 mile neighborhood walk around noon, another potty walk and dinner between 4-5pm. Water is always available. Require 48 hour advanced notice before booking, 24 hour notice before canceling.
