I’ve been pet-sitting for neighbors since I was in middle school. I make sure to follow any specific instructions for the dog, and I enjoy spending time with the dog and taking him/her out for walks. My family also had a Golden Retriever, and now I have my own Golden Retriever.

A typical day
In addition to playing with your dog, I’ll take him/her for long walks and give lots of attention! I’ll also make sure to give treats during our time together. I’ve been working on training my puppy, so if there’s any skills you’d like me to work on with your dog, I’m happy to do so, as I know training is great mental stimulation for dogs as well!

Availability
I’m a teacher, so during the summer I have additional time to care for others’ pets. If I’m taking care of someone else’s dog, I make sure to arrange my schedule around it, as I take this commitment very seriously. This is also something I think I could continue to do at times during the school year.
