I have experience caring for a wide range of pets, including cats, dogs, rabbits, rats, hamsters and birds. I am happy to offer my services to care for your beloved pet or pets when you are unable to. From the time I was born, I was surrounded by pets. I grew up in a household with 5 rescue cats and 4 dogs. Around the start of elementary school, we rescued a rabbit that immediately had 7 babies! Through my childhood I learned the love and companionship animals can give and the respectful care they need. From feedings to exercise needs to hygiene, I quickly became familiar with caring for a variety of animals and their unique needs. After moving out on my own, I adopted a dwarf hamster (Avarice Penmanship the Third), followed by 4 fancy rats (Tyler, Perry, Bella, and Winnie), and then 2 additional fancy rats (Linus & Snoopy). I was their sole pet parent for their entire lifespans, which unfortunately are only around 3 years for rats. During this time, I also frequently cared for my family's elderly dalmatian, Mr. Wellington, when my parents were traveling or while home from college (with my rats and hamster in toe of course! I have also cared for my close friend's lovebird, Georgie, and my cousin's cat, Luna, when they traveled. After meeting my husband and moving in together, we adopted our sweet cat, Maddie, from a local rescue after meeting her in a cat cafe. We are so happy to have her as the newest member of our family.
