As a life-long animal lover, I have provided care for dogs, cats, horses, etc. throughout my life, and professionally over the past 10 years. I love exercising and having fun with dogs and am extensively experienced in specific care needs, such as medication administration and specialty diets. I am highly caring, attentive, and responsible. Animal safety and wellness are of my utmost concerns. I have wanted a pet, particularly a dog very, very much the past few school years, but my doctoral program and consultant work require frequent travel. Spending time with your pet(s) would be a real treat, as I adore animals! Since my family dog passed in 2016, having that walking and playing buddy is missed. I also grew up riding and taking care of cats, horses, and other farm animals, and am open to additional animal care opportunities. I am an educator specializing in working with special needs and/or Indigenous students. As a native of Northern New Mexico, I primarily grew up on my grandpa's land, where we maintained a small farm and packs of huskies. I have also worked with training and transitioning assistance dogs with special needs youth. I look forward to providing you and your pet family with excellent care!
