Pet care experience
I've been around all types of animals since I was born! I've volunteered at animal shelters, taken care of family and friend dogs and cats (even other animals like ferrets, turtles, horses, etc). I love all animals from the ocean to the land. I personally owned my own dog. He lived until he was 19. I rescued animals I have found and took in two kittens that were 4 weeks old. I do stop, when safe, when I see what seems to be an escaped dog. Recently, we took in our own cat that was a rescue from Happytails. I help with my aunts dogs when she is out of town. One in particular is on seizure medication. I clipped my own dog's nails. He was on special dog food for bladder stones, had his 5th claw removed when it got caught in a blanket. Some out of the norm things happened but I am good at remaining calm and knowing the proper steps to take. My aunts other dog who sadly passed away was diabetic so I have administered injections.

I meet Leanna through a mutual friend 3 months ago. I work on a farm with close to 30 animals. There are horses, donkeys, pigs, goats, sheep, as well as 3 dogs and 6 cats. Leanna has volunteered helping care for the horses. She is extremely talented with the animals. She has experience with horses and they trust and love her. I have full confidence in her abilities to care for animals. She is a loving and dedicated caretaker.
Leanna has pet sit my 2 dogs and 2 ferrets over the years. She always takes great care of my pets and I can trust that they will be well looked after while I’m away. My dogs love when she comes to visit them!

We have had Leanna as a dog sitter for 6 years now. She is so amazing with animals. Our two girls (dogs) love her. She is so sweet as a person and a very big animal lover. When we go out of town we always call Leanna. She is always there when she says she will be. My husband says, Where is Leanna? Our girls run to the door and wait for her to come in. We have got to know her over the years. I can tell you how much she loves all animals. She has worked with. Horses, dogs, cats.bearded dragons. I also know she gives some of her time to work with shelters. If you want a sweet person you can trust your pets with we say, 100% on the great care she gives. You won't be sorry.

I live in apartment that takes dogs. I hope your cat or dog likes other cats. I do have a 6 month old kitten. There is a nearby dog park. I am not too picky about my car and it's leather so it's easy to clean. I offer daily runs/ walks or just movie day if you have an older pet or sick pet. I have a roommate who is also a pet lover and my son as well who is 9 years old. He has a dog of his own at Dad's house and a Bearded Dragon. All three of us will give love. If your pet does not do well with children, we could talk about that as my son goes to Dad's house too. Really I am open to most scenarios and can adapt to your pets needs.

Before dog-sitting, I would like to know the background of your pet. Where did you get your fur baby? How long have you had your cutie? Any history of aggression with other animals or children? Are they leash trained? What special accommodations would be needed if any?
A typical day
There is a nearby dog park which we can cruise to in my car. The car I will be using is a bit older which is perfect so I am not meticulous about it. I enjoy hikes myself so if your dog does that would be awesome. I also love water so if your pup is a water hound that is great too. I enjoy taking pictures especially action shots. Sometimes they are the sweetest and funniest pictures. My roommate visits a fun loving dog so socializing can be accommodated. We can play fetch. If your dog prefers to be near someone at all times, I love to cuddle too! I am here for your pet. Whatever they like to do, I can make that happen within reason. If they haven't ran or hiked and that is something that interest you, we can explore new activities. I will always ask before I take your dog for a ride. I like to ensure that you do not have to worry when your furry loved one is with me. You will receive pictures of course.

Availability
I am available full-time. I moved here about a year ago from Paradise, Ca. Being around animals is so good for me and I love giving love to dogs and cats (big or small)! I love a good run too. I would love something full-time but am open to discuss what works best for you. I am available for any type of service you need.
