Pet care experience
“Until one has loved an animal a part of one’s soul remains unawakened.” Anatole France I love animals so much I’ve devoted over two decades to professionally caring for them in animal welfare and emergency veterinary settings. My senior dog has epilepsy and various other health issues, so not only am I skilled from giving my personal pets daily medication, but I have decades of experience administering vaccines, medications, fluids and treatments in a professional setting. I have a senior dog with epilepsy, a brachycephalic breed dog, cat with cerebeller hypoplasia and another cat who is semi-feral, so I understand the extra love and attention animals with medical and/or behavior needs require. I’ve taken care of animals of all ages and states-dogs, cats, pocket pets, some exotics and barn animals. Animals are one of life’s greatest gifts and deserve the utmost love, care and compassion. I look forward to meeting and hopefully taking care of your fur family!

We just met Leann but are already so very pleased with her care for our elderly dog. We feel confident in her so that we do not need to worry when we are away.
Leann is the most compassionate human with any and all fur babies. She helped my husband and I out when I was in the hospital and she sent me pictures and updates about my two cats and 2 large dogs. She took care of my pit bull who adores her and followed what we wrote down for her perfectly. She made my pets feel like they didn’t miss a beat and we all know how important routine is and she really cared about keeping my animals the most comfortable. She is so trusting and truly is that person who has to stop and ask to pet your dog wherever she goes. She sees their souls they have and knows how important they mean to you because she has fur babies of her own that mean the world to her. She takes her job very seriously and I can confidently recommend this girl with my whole heart.

I can exercise through walks, in the home, or whatever your preference is for your pet. My goal is to keep your pets routine as close to normal as possible for minimal disruption while you are away.

I’ve learned numerous enrichment activities, games and items to keep even the most energetic animal engaged and happy. Animals need physical AND mental stimulation, so I make it a priority to find out what your pet prefers and enjoys doing.

Availability
I’m currently working full-time, but often work from home on Fridays and Mondays and have the ability to work remotely. I’m off Saturdays and Sundays and able to do walks in the evenings on weekdays or anytime on weekends. I can typically only do overnight care Friday-Monday.
