Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs and have 15+ years of personal dog (sized large and small) care experience and understand how important a pet is to the family. Since starting graduate school here in Philly, I've dog-sat for my friends, making sure that their pets are happy through lots of playtime and walks. After years of experience, I also know when not to push a pet beyond his or her limits during play and walks, and I can sense when a dog is feeling uncomfortable or sick. If I sense that the dog is feeling sick, I always make sure to let the owners know immediately. My little dog passed away last year and I am using Rover as a way to play with and walk more dogs.

Leann looked after my two very senior and opinionated cats in the summer for 8 weeks and they loved her. She sent me the most adorable photos of them and they clearly loved her visits. The communication with her was flawless. She’s amazing!
Leann took great care of Penny as always. This time Penny had a BIG accident in the crate. Leann let me know what happened and went out of her way to tidy things up for penny (and for me). She's the best!
Leann always takes great care of my dog Penny. This visit Penny had escaped from her pen, but no problem for Leann. Leann checked for accidents around the house and helped Penny work off her extra energy before ensuring she was safely back in her pen.

Depending on the dog's home location, we'd walk around the neighborhood, Rittenhouse park, along the Schuylkill River, or anywhere that the the dog is familiar with. I'd make sure with the owners first, if my intended route will be safe for the pets.
