Pet care experience
My experience taking care of dogs goes back to my childhood. When I was 8 we got a new puppy and from that moment on I have been obsessed. From taking care of newborn puppies and experiencing the birthing process to helping my senior dogs find comfort in their final days, I have seen it all. I learned a lot of what I know from firsthand experience but also from reading many books of dog behavior and from being taught training techniques from a close family friend and dog trainer. Nothing makes me happier than a dog and nothing makes my dog happier than being with other dogs! I hope to ease the stress that can come from managing life and wanting the best for your pup by providing a safe space for them to have fun!
Reviews
LeAnn has been my go-to dog and cat sitter for some time now. I know that my two rambunctious dogs, Tank and Champ, are always going to be in safe and loving hands when I leave for a short-day trip or a long weekend trip. I love all the photos she sends me of Tank and Champ when she takes them on runs, walks, and hikes. I have truly never known someone who cares so much about animals, and who is so incredibly knowledgeable about the psychology of dogs. Her experience training dogs as a teenager has primed her well for understanding the needs of many dogs. She has also watched my cat, Oliver, who absolutely loves her. She is very communicative, trustworthy, friendly, and reliable. I can easily say that LeAnn's dog, Brisket, is the happiest dog I have known which shows a lot about her caretaking style. I will continue to recommend LeAnn to anyone who is looking for a great pet-sitter.

I have a big yard that is partially wooded for the dogs to play around in, whether your dog is good off leash or not. I have a run for my dog that he stays on when outside in the yard but he usually sticks with me so he’s not always attached. In the home are multiple dog beds and comfy places for the pups to rest after a long day. There is always access to water, inside and out. My dog is very easy going so we are willing to be adaptable on a pet to pet basis.

Information LeAnn G. would like to know about your pet
I need to know if your pet is up to date on all vaccinations and if they are reactive to anything. This information helps me understand their behavior so we can both be safe when out walking and playing.
A typical day
Everyday starts with a morning walk before breakfast. After breakfast we usually relax for a little bit or I have to leave for school. On days I leave for school I will give my dog some form of enrichment toy/activity to keep him stimulated while I’m gone. When I return we always go for a long walk through the neighborhood and depending on my schedule we might go to a local trail for walking before dinner or to the dog park. Finally there is always our before bed walk to get last zoomies out and be relaxed for sleep.

I am currently a student at University and my schedule takes me away from the home for 3-4 hours 4 days a week. I am always providing enrichment activities for my dog while I am away from the house and we go on a long walk when I return.
