Ever since I was little and read about Balto the Husky I've always wanted one. After college I was either always busy or didn't have the right space to accommodate a pup. Either way I knew it wouldn't have been m fair to the dog so I waited for the right time. But last year was a big year starting with me leaving my good corporate job to run my own startup. Shortly after, me and my girlfriend moved into a big house with a backyard in Old Louisville house. So there I was working from home, and in a big spacious house... And it dawned on me that I no longer had anything keeping me from getting a dog. My girlfriend bought me my first dog, my dream dog, my Husky baby named Dash. 4 months later, things were working so well that we decided to get Dash baby brother, another Husky named Dino. Sounds super cliche but these dogs changed my live and I love them so much for it. All I used to do was work on my startup. After getting our 2 boys, I felt a responsibility to take care of them and bond with them so I learned to take breaks. Fast-forward to now... My life revolves around my dogs, my girlfriend and I religiously take them to the dog parks every day, I have a rental property that provides some income, and the startup is mature enough that it's just something I do on the side. So life is good. Now wrapping up with renovations and the house is still way to big for just us, we have a decent sized backyard, and the whole first floor is still empty. Coincidentally, I also just found out about this app. We considered filling the first floor with fancy furniture that we'll barely use... we also considered creating a space ideal for hosting more dogs. After 2 seconds of deliberation the later idea would be more rewarding and here we are now:)
