I’ve done lots of pet sitting gigs in between jobs and seasonal work. I have nannied for two families for longer stints (1 year +) both of which have had both dogs and cats, who I was responsible for in addition to childcare. I am a full-time farmer and animal lover looking for some extra income :)

Leah babysat our children, and we have a large golden retriever and two cats that she took care of as well. She is very responsible and empathetic. Would highly recommend her for any job taking care of animals.
Leah is a passionate, kind, hardworking individual. As my sister, I really look up to her for her commitment to living life in harmony with nature. She’s always been interested in food systems, animals, and a holistic lifestyle. She has lots of experience taking care of children, animals and plants— all three of which coincide inevitably. Leah is also punctual, organized, and diligent. There’s never been a task she has set her mind to that hasn’t been completed to the best of her ability— and this is a trait I’ve watched her cultivate since childhood.
Leah was the most reliable, thoughtful and dedicated person who helped our family. Always on time, communicative and thorough, she would follow whatever instructions we asked her to do with a smile. She was willing to come early or stay late if it our schedule required it. Would hire her at again at any moment for help with our dog!

I love getting to know pets based on their personality. Because I work so closely with nature and wildlife on a daily basis, I am very in tune with the human to animal connection. Kindness, empathy, and understanding are crucial. Even though pets don’t speak our physically language, they can read our bodies and energy so this is the most important part of creating a great relationship with them.

I can pretty much handle anything as long as I have information in advance. I am a quick learner and very understanding. Communication is key!
A typical day
I love to go on hikes with dogs! I love being outside. I would also love to go to the beach and being a frisbee to play catch :)

I am mostly available on weekends to do any walking or house stays. My farm work hours are pretty tiring so weekdays don’t work super well for me.
