Are they house or crated trained? Any food allergies/special diet that I should be aware of (any special instructions, really)? Would you say they're more active or more laid back? Are they quick to warm up to new people or more shy? Essentially, what do you think I can do to make your dog feel as comfortable with me as possible? If they have a schedule or routine just let me know so I can try to make your absence as easy for them as possible. Obviously I'm no replacement for you while you're away; but if there's anything I can do to ease the anxiety of you being gone for your little fur-baby I'll do my best! Happy to do a meet and greet for both dog-walking and dog-sitting! I know we both want to make sure that your dog will be getting the best care for them, even if that means it won't be with me (but hopefully you'll choose me!!)

Where we'll go on walks: I'm happy to take your dog on long walks around your neighborhood or mine! I live in East Boston right by the water near several dog parks, board walks, trails, and only two T stops from the common! If there's a route that your dog particularly enjoys in your neighborhood just let me know! Fun activities: If your dog like playing with other dogs we can go to the dog park -- if not we'll go to the regular park! I won't let your dog off the leash unless you specifically tell me it's okay to do so. So we won't be playing fetch unless we're in a closed-off/fenced-off area. If your dog has a favorite toy just let me know! Sleeping arrangements: I personally think this is up to you. If your dog has a crate or bed that they sleep in, we can keep up the routine for them. They can sleep on the couch or even in the bed with me if that's okay with you. I won't allow your dog to go anywhere that you wouldn't yourself, so just let me know what you prefer. Extra house sitting tasks: I'm happy to do any additional tasks for you while you're away. I can water plants, take in the mail, wash any linens that I use, any light cleaning that you'd normally do, etc.
