I’ve spent my life surrounded by animals of many different species (dogs, cats, rabbits, rodents, birds, reptiles, horses, chickens, cows, sheep, and goats!), due to this I have gained a deep appreciation for animal behaviour and welfare. I specialize in fearful, reactive, and aggressive dogs, but I’m more than happy to care for laid back pups as well! I have many years of experience handling dogs with behavioural concerns, and I am comfortable accommodating most behaviours. Meet and greet’s are required for all new clients - I ask that any behaviour concerns are brought up at this time. I am a strong advocate for the humane and ethical treatment of all animals, and recognize that all animals deserve to live a happy, healthy, and enriched life — whatever that looks like for them. I have attended countless webinars on animal behaviour and handling, as well as having hired professional trainers to guide me on my journey. I have the long term goal to pursue a career as a certified professional animal trainer! I volunteer with the PG Humane Society, the BCSPCA, the Prince George Therapeutic Riding Association, BC Wildlife Federation, Northern Bear Awareness Society, and the Auxiliary to UHNBC. Through my training with BCSPCA I have earned my Fear Free certification, and I access the continuing education provided via Fear Free.
