Since I was about 5, I have had either a dog or a cat! As an adult, I’ve had multiple dogs (the oldest was 16), guinea pigs and hamsters. I’ve even taken care of horses in the past. In our house I’m the Pied Piper of our furry friends as I feed, bathe, walk, clip toe nails, give haircuts (I bought my own clippers!), administer meds and just generally “listen” when they are trying to tell me something. All combined with tons of love, cuddles, and attention. I am back in school and also work from home. Taking care of your pet(s) will allow me to be flexible and successful as a student while allowing me to get out and refresh my brain during walks. I have a fenced in backyard and 2 friendly little dogs who enjoy company. We have great parks nearby and Google is my friend when trying to figure out a great place to take your furry friend for exercise. =]
