Pet care experience
I’ve had a dog since I was about 12 and I watch other people’s dogs all the time! I dog sat back home in New Orleans for a few years. When I moved to Lafayette, I watched friends’ dogs. I have a very gentle and big heart so I show lots of love and cuddles to the doggos. Because I have so much experience with animals, I’m very understanding and patient with them. I’m open to dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, birds, anything! As a fellow pet-owner, I know the stress of leaving your pet(s) and house with a stranger. Because of that I treat them like they are my own and take the best care of them!!! You can trust me with your loved pets and your prized possessions! The more details the better. I will have my own client sheet made for you to fill out so I can know all the little details about your pooch and how to make the experience as easy and care free as possible. I look forward to setting up a meet and greet to get to know you and your animals!! ***I work a full time job from 8am-5pm. I do not house dogs at my house. Pricing can be modified.***

Leah took such awesome care of my pups! One of them gets very uncertain with strangers, but warmed up to her very quickly. She left the house tidy, and did great sending updates. I would love to have her look after my boys again!
Leah was a wonderful sitter who is incredibly conscientious about how she approaches pet sitting. She came fully prepared with her own info sheet to fill out and was great at checking in regularly while we were on a long trip away. I cannot recommend her enough!
Leah was wonderful! She came highly recommended when our normal dog sitter wasn’t available! She exceeded our expectations! Giving our pups all the love and taking care of our home while we were away! Would definitely use Leah again!
Leah was great, my two dogs are very different in personalities. Leah was patient with them and they accepted her. She did what was expected and sent pictures to this worrying mom. Leah took time out of her schedule to meet my babies before my trip. It's very scary to leave someone a key to your home but also entrust them with my previous babies. I highly recommend Leah and "YES" I will use Leah and Rover again.

I would like to know emergency contact for someone in town if you will be out of town, feeding schedule and amount of food, vet information, things/people/activities or anything of that sort that may trigger an animal to lash out, if your pet gets along with other pets, special dietary instructions, medications, and any other important and relevant information that you would like to provide.
A typical day
I can walk them around the neighborhood, take them to the dog park, or anywhere you would feel comfortable! We will play together and have yummy snacks.
