Pet care experience
My name is Leah, I am a 22yr old who’s looking to have some furry friends join me on my walks. -I worked in a vet clinic as a kennel assistant for several years before heading to school, taking care of the small and large animals that were in the clinic on weekends while the office was closed. I did duties such as feedings, going for walks, assist with ultrasounds and bandaging and giving certain medications. -I’ve worked on a horse farm for 8+ years taking care of the horses on property as well as my own horse. - volunteered at multiple animals rescues. - I have a dog of my own to look after who is a 7yr old Brussels Griffon. -dog/cat sit for my neighbours animals while they were away for the summer the last 2yrs.
Reviews
Nothing better then finding someone who loves your dog as much as you do.
Leah is great! She always been available for my puppy whether it be morning, afternoon or evening - sometimes even with short notice. Furthermore, she is prompt to reply which is so helpful in planning his care! Her genuine love for dogs is obvious as she openly accommodates any needs or requests during the allotted time and has even gone beyond that time to ensure my puppy is fed and settled again before she leaves. I would absolutely recommend Leah if you are looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable and capable

Our dog was recently diagnosed with luxating patella (don't worry he’s happy and not in any pain) but due to his condition he requires a bit of extra attention. You can trust in me that your dog wouldn’t be treated any differently than if he was my own. Given lots of scratches, praise, constant attention and of course love 😊
Information Leah V. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your animal has any special quirks or needs that I should be aware of. ie (not friendly with other dogs, nervous around people, allergies, behaviour, etc.) I look forward to meeting you and your pup!
A typical day
I know for some dogs going on a simple walk isn’t enough for their minds so I am more than happy to stimulate their minds in a greater sense by going to the parks, playing with toys or working in training while on our walks. Whatever you as the owner feels is necessary to get the most out of your dogs time with me.

Availability
I am currently working part time very early in the mornings so I usually finish work around 10am. I love going on walks and figure why not enjoy it a little more with your furry friend by my side! Finishing my part time job at 10am gives me lots of time/ flexibility to walk your pup during the day or multiple times a day if needed. We can go for longer or shorter walks, to the park or just around the block all dependent on your dogs needs/ability. I will also have treats on hand that can be given with owners permission.
