I have always LOVED dogs. I used to beg my parents when I was little for one of our own!! I would stop dog owners on the streets to pet their dogs, and I would even visit the pet store just so I could play with them. Finally when I was 13, I got my first dog, Max!! Maxi was 5 years when we got him. He turned out to be my best friend, and I loved him so much. He lived until he was 17 years old!! He required a lot of special care towards the end of his life, so I have experience with older/ senior dogs. This includes oral medication administration, special dietary restrictions, frequent potty breaks, and mobility assists. Despite how much extra care and attention max required as he got older, I never stopped loving him. He crossed over the rainbow bridge in my arms about 2 years ago. There’s not a day that goes by that I don’t miss him. I also got Shadow as a super energetic puppy, so I have plenty of puppy experience. He is currently 9 and lives at my parents home. I also have large dog experience as I cared for and lived with my brothers German Shepherd for years. As a traveling nurse, my current lifestyle does not support a dog of my own right now, but I am definitely missing a furry companion. That is why I promise to devote so much love, care, and attention to your dog/ dogs! You can trust that they will be in loving hands while you are gone.
