Pet care experience
I have watched homes and pets for family and friends since I was old enough to do so. I am happy to do check-ins, walks, meals, playtime, or whatever your pet needs. I love to keep owners updated with messages and pictures! I have had my own dog and cats, and I cannot decide whether I am a “dog person” or a “cat person.” Can I be both? I’ve also cared for fish, guinea pigs, bearded dragons and would love to add more species to the list!

Leah did a great job for me when I had to find a new sitter before a business trip. She was punctual, communicative, friendly and my pup had no problem getting comfortable with the visits. She'd be first on my list for my next trip out of town.
I was able to book with Leah last minute as a new cat sitter for me. She was very friendly and a great communicator. She was able to give topical ear meds to my cat who can be a bit skittish. I will definitely book with her again!
Leah was wonderful. Susie and I will miss her greatly. We wish we could keep her forever but she is moving too far from us. Anyone that takes Leah as their pet care giver, walker, etc.. will be extremely lucky. I highly recommend her to anyone. Thank You Leah for everything.
Leah did a great job watching my two beagles while my wife and I were out of town for the weekend. Trustworthy, reliable and took great care with the dogs.

I offer care for pets in clients’ homes. I ensure I leave the living space just as (or better) than I found it. Of course, I only access what is necessary for pet care, and I am always double-checking locks when I leave. I want you to feel like you don’t have to worry that your pet will be happy and safe!
Information Leah T. would like to know about your pet
If your pet has a history of aggression, or has known triggering situations, please let me know ASAP! I have experience with reactive dogs, but this will be addressed on a case-by-case basis. If we will be going on walks, please let me know if you’d like me to allow your dog to interact with other dogs and/or people. Otherwise I will assume to keep them at a distance. If you are working on any type of behavioral training, please instruct me on commands, corrections, and rewards you would like me to give your pet. If your pet has ANY medical needs, please inform me ahead of time and I will promptly respond to let you know if I am the right sitter for you! TL;DR: If your pet has any special needs, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate. If I am unable to, I will not be willing to take on the job for your pet’s wellbeing and safety.
A typical day
Walks are always on the menu, if that’s your dog’s (or cat’s!) cup of tea! Otherwise I am happy to feed meals, romp around in the yard, play fetch, work on tricks, or just hang out and give your pet some company if that’s what they like best.

I work part-time as a speech-language pathologist. My schedule usually has breaks during the day (or days off during the week), so what better way to spend that time? I have variable availability in the morning, afternoon, and evening so please send a request and I’ll respond promptly.
