Pet care experience
I worked as a vet technician assistant right out of high school, and through college worked at a grooming business where I learned how to organize pet care and get things done ethically and effectively. I love big dogs but we have always had smaller dogs, and that led me to find work in a field where I work with all animals (including horses). I also have a bachelors degree in psychology while specializing in behavior. Through my experience with that field I learned how to understand and teach my animals at home and at work in a healthy way.

Ideally I would travel to their house to watch their pet, because I live in a house that is not ideal for animals. However I know their basic needs and the area well enough to make sure they receive their needs in a safe environment.
Information Leah S. would like to know about your pet
I would love to know that your pet is up to date on all of its shots! For the pets safety and for mine! I would prefer to know the breed or the weight of the animal if I’m not able to see a picture! Any information helps when I am trying to give your animal the love you would give it, had you been there!
A typical day
Depending on your fur baby’s personality and the safety of your pet and I, we may go for a car ride, a walk around the block, to the dog park or a regular park (with a leash), or go get a pupachino! I want to make sure your pet is loved, tired, and thinking they had a good day when you get home!

Availability
Although I do not have my own pets I have a career that leaves my normal office hours pretty open, and because of this I offer to take care of my parents two small dogs during the day. As well as my brothers two larger dogs and their kitten. It has turned into more of a hobby than a favor!
