Pet care experience
I have been around animals all my life. Mostly dogs and cats, though I have owned birds, rabbits, chickens, hamsters and other random pets. When I was younger I trained and showed my dogs in obedience. My fur babies are my children and I will treat yours the same. I have two fenced yards; one large grass yard with 6 ft. privacy fencing and a smaller yard with an 8’x8’ sand pit for digging and playing, a gravel area for bathroom and a covered patio. I also have 4 large crates indoors for separating dogs at meal times or any other times. I love making healthy dog treats and, if it’s ok with you, I will treat your pet to an occasional treat. Leah was a great A host!! I contacted her on short notice and she got back to me in record time; not only that but her communication was amazing with daily updates on Annie and how she was doing during her stay. Leah truly treated Annie like one of her own and I couldn’t be more thankful 😊

As mentioned above, I have two yards with 6’ privacy fencing, 4 large crates indoors and three dogs of my own that are very friendly and love to play. I also have the room to separate any dogs that don’t want to play. In addition, I have access to a veterinarian 24/7 if there is ever a need for one.

Before sitting I would like to know a little about your pet….personality, any specific commands, feeding schedule and portion size, any allergies, any aggression issues, house trained, any special toys or games he/she likes to play. Anything you can tell me to make him/her feel more at home and comfortable would be great.
A typical day
I have many toys and tennis balls to play with. The dogs can run and play in the big yard or relax in the shade under the patio. In the summer I have a child’s pool set up with clean water to play in and a very large, industrial fan for cooling off.

I am currently working as a paramedic on shift work. I have a lot of available time to take care of pets and I am hoping to retire from my full time job in December and work on only caring for pets.
