Pet care experience
I have grown up around dogs and have been pet sitting for years. I love caring for animals, I have experience raising puppies and caring for dogs of all different sizes and breeds. I previously worked at a multinational Christian Ministry where I was the personal assistant to the founder & president. I currently work for DHEC as an environmental health manager. I am very reliable, trustworthy, organized, and most importantly an animal lover. I currently do not have any pets which is one of the reasons I love this job so much! I work 8:30am-5pm, Monday-Friday, so I am available in the mornings, evenings, and weekends. I can also make myself available at lunch time as I drive a lot for work (in Charleston) and my job is very flexible. We were nervous about hiring a petsitter, but from the first meeting Leah put us at ease and our experience with her proved us correct in our feelings. Upon our return the house was immaculate and our dog was happy and healthy. He is an older dog with some medical issues and Leah handled everything beautifully. Leah is a wonderful dog sitter. She cared for our Fort when we went on vacation. Leah walked Fort at least twice a day. She even came home on her lunch break to spend time with him. Leah also played with Fort and his toys. Fort was so happy when we picked him up. I will definitely use Leah again soon!
Leah was amazing to work with, and (if I wasn't moving to NC next month) she would be my permanent sitter. She was so sweet, my pup fell in love instantly, and I know this because he slept with her the first night. She made sure to touch base with me throughout the visit to my home, and she also sent pictures. Give Leah your business. You will be so happy with her services!
Leah was a responsive, communicative, and excellent dog caregiver! She responded to my request within minutes, and scheduled a time to come meet our dogs that week. While staying at our home, she sent us pictures of our dogs while we were away and left a sweet note upon our arrival home. She even went above and beyond and washed the guest rooms sheets! Lucy and Callie can’t wait for Leah to come back over!
