Daily Adventures with Dogs
Pet care experience
I am one of those people that if I could have ten dogs, I would. I've raised two certified therapy dogs and I have lots of experience with behavior issues. I currently live in an apartment I work at UC. Because of this, I have a limited schedule, but what it means for you is that when I am available, your dog would get my full attention with frequent outings to nearby Alms or Ault park, or also Otto Armleder dog park if your pup likes dog parks. I only care for one dog at a time so your pet would be the only dog in the house and would get lots of personal attention, pets and play time. Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask questions.

Wonderful sitter! Above and beyond with activities and outings! I was always at ease knowing my dog was with Leah.
I left Tillie with Leah and Andy for a week. Leah had walked Tillie numerous times, but I wanted to do a meet & greet at their home to make sure Tillie seemed compatible with them and their dog. All went well. Leah provided daily updates and photos. Tillie tends to be very shy with new people, but she warmed up to Leah and Andy - and their dog New Year - in a few days. They took her on lots of excursions to parks. They fell in love with Tillie, and she was obviously fond of them. I'm grateful for the great care they provided for Tillie. Don't hesitate to entrust the care of your furry friend to Leah and Andy!
Ollie had a wonderful time with Leah! Enjoyed seeing photos of their time and adventures together!
We left our dog with Leah and her partner for a long trip and we could not be happier. Coco was well exercised, comfortable and loved. Leah also accommodated us when our return trip got cancelled and kept coco for a few extra nights. we could not recommend Leah more !!

For me, it is important that the dogs in my care get a couple of fun walks, plenty of playtime and lots of belly rubs and hip scratches while they are in my care. My philosophy is to make your doggie feel loved and cared for. Dogs in my house do not need to be crate trained. They can get on the furniture and bed (unless you don’t want them to) and, if your dog has the energy, I love to go on long walks on the trails at Alms or Ault park and would love to take your dog, too. If your dog is a distinguished senior, I have a lot of experience with that, too. Our days would consist of Melli, slow-paced walks, movies on the couch together and belly rubs.

Information Leah R. would like to know about your pet
1. Has your dog ever bitten anyone or another dog? (Please be honest, one time I had a client not disclose this so now I ask everyone) 2. Does your dog have any anxieties or does your dog get separation anxiety? 3. Is your dog destructive to furniture or household items? 4. Would your dog do ok by themselves for up to 2 hours max?
A typical day
I live in Columbia Tusculum close to lots of fun dog stuff. I love to walk our dog guests around the neighborhood, in Alms Park, in Ault Park and at the Otto Armleder dog park. I am also an avid hiker, so if your dog is into it, I'd love to take your pup on a hike!

Availability
Need to go away for a long weekend? Looking for someone trustworthy and passionate about dogs to care for you due baby? I only board pups when I am not working (I work at UC) and because of that, I have specific availability (usually Thursday - Monday) to take care of your baby. What this means is that when I take care of your dog, I am home the whole time your dog stays with me. I also only take one dog at a time and (because my beloved dog just crossed over the rainbow bridge) your dog would be the only dog in my home.
