Pet care experience
I have owned a dog with my family for the past 20 years. Our beloved Havenese, Knobby, just recently passed away and caring for him during the end of his life was the most brave and eye opening experience I’ve ever had in my life. I love all dogs, but have a heart for older dogs and I want them to spend the rest of their life here on earth as comfortably and as happily as possible. Let me care for your dog while you are away or check in on them when you are busy!

Leah is a dog lover through and through! When we were kids, she wanted a dog so badly, she spent 4 months caring for a ceramic dog to prove to our parents she was responsible enough to have one. We used to have a dog of our own, he recently went to heaven and Leah wants to share her love with other pets here on earth. She has a special place in her heart for older dogs and loves making them happy. She will treat your dog just like she spoiled our pup for the 15 years we had him!

Let me know if there is anything special about your dog. Do they love it when you rub their head? Do they hate it when you touch their paws? Would they enjoy accompanying me to TJ Maxx or would they prefer to stay home? I have a heart for senior dogs so I always try to be gentle and accommodating.
A typical day
I love to incorporate animals into my daily schedule. If I’m cooking and the pet is watching, I will talk to them! If I’m doing laundry, I will sit beside them and we will “fold” laundry together. I also go on errands that are pet friendly and enjoy taking dogs out for new places to walk, play and enjoy the outdoors!

I am a teacher who substitute teaches and will be on summer break soon, so I have a much more open schedule than the normal full time employee at this time.
