Dogs and I just get along. We speak the same language; I love going on walks and runs as most dogs do. I've always loved dogs. I've volunteered at animal shelters, in South Dakota, Kentucky, and Hawaii. (Actually, all the dogs I've had had have been rescues, including my new puppy, Lucy.) I have experience with both house sitting and dog watching. I'm good at handling most situations that might arise, and almost every dog I've met trusts and like me (even most neurotic dogs :). I have some experience dealing with dog injuries/maladies as well. I'm an artist so I work from home. I'm excited to meet you and your dog, and can't wait to love them as much as you do! Also, I LOVE taking photos of dogs, so of course you'd be getting photo messages of your pooch while you are away. :) I have experience giving dogs special attention, whether that is dog massage, or medicine. I am a firm believer in dogs being in a pack, so if you think that your dog would be best alone, our situation might not work for you.
