There's a massive hole in my Whistler life without dogs. I'm a very active person and dogs are my perfect companion. It means so much to me that I can give my love and care to an animal that would otherwise be lonely and bored. I have leash trained all 3 of my familys dogs. I love figuring out what motivates each individual pet and love to experiment with leash training, tricks, and obedience training in short sessions at a time.

Leah is just awesome! We were visiting Whistler and couldn’t take our dog to Joffre lakes and a couple other pet unfriendly places. Leah was not only accommodating of our requests including the last minute drop off time changes, she even took our dog on a hike with her. She shared frequent updates with photos and videos and overall took very good care of our dog. At the end of the day, we got back a happy and a tired pup! Couldn’t ask for more!! If you’re looking for a pet sitter in Whistler, definitely see if Leah is available. Your pet will thank you!
Leah was amazing with our shy dog Willa. Willa connected with Leah right away. They went for a long walk and Willa had an awesome day.

Leah has cared for our female border collie Mika many times. Mika is a reactive dog and so she can be difficult to manage with other dogs and even some people. Leah has always taken care to have Mika in a healthy, safe environment when they walk together. She never puts Mika in a position to react but if circumstances arose Leah would be confident and capable of handling the situation. Leah is responsible, reliable and has a genuine love for dogs. I would highly recommend her!

The maximum time your pet would be alone in my home is 2 hours while I work or go to gym. I have a large private suite with not much furniture, and plenty of space to move around freely for your pet to decompress. There are many walking trails near my neighborhood. I have a good sized yard on a quiet street off drifter way in Alpine. My subaru can fit any dog. Weather depending, I often go for bike rides and runs in the area. So high-energy dogs are likely a great match for me and what I'm most familiar with. I will never feed your pet cheap treats or people food either, as I believe my pets should eat as healthy as I do. I would not leave your pet unattended, ever, or let them off leash in an unfenced area. Safety is my utmost concern.

I live a very active and social lifestyle and like to bring the dog along. Please also let me know if your pet requires a crate for being left home alone. (Max 2 hrs)
A typical day
I love walking in any weather. My favourite places to walk are around rainbow, alpine, meadow park and green lake. I love to hang out at the alpha lake dog park, or the cheakamus dog park. Rainbow park is also a favourite.

Availability
I drive a school bus for two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon, leaving plenty of time to walk and play with furry friends. I'm a very active person in my free time.
