Hi! My name is Leah and I am a junior at NC State. Although I'm 21 years old, I still feel a rush of happiness and let out a giddy smile whenever I see a dog, cat, or any animal really. I was born into a family that values a pets' life and sees them as beings deserving of respect, care, and love. I've had experience with many different animals through Animal Science courses at NC State and have grown through the responsibilities of training and caring for my own pets. I grew up with German Shepherds and Alaskan Malamutes - dogs that need LOTS of exercise and attention. I fully understand the specific needs of breeds, but will also respect your training/care style. Pets are dependent on us as caregivers; I will always treat each animal I encounter with respect and kindness, and make sure to communicate with you honestly and in a timely manner.
