Love all dogs - Flexible Schedule
Pet care experience
I absolutely love dogs and have cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds. I have also lived with dogs and feel very comfortable recognizing their needs and moods. I especially love running with dogs or taking them on long walks, and feel confident using various types of leashes and harnesses. I am working full-time over the summer, however, I have a flexible schedule and can easily adjust to the needs of your dog. After the summer I will return to being a graduate student and will have even more availability in my schedule. I do have a car and am comfortable traveling and navigating nearly all parts of LA. I look forward to meeting you and your dog and providing fun, active, and hassle-free care!

Leah was AMAZING!! She walked my very hyperactive dog plenty of times and made sure to send me hourly updates on how they were doing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is looking for a great dog sitter.
Leah is awesome! She's watched my dog, Mo, numerous times. She always takes great care of him, making sure he's got a full belly and plenty of exercise--which for a husky says something! He always comes back super happy. If Leah is watching Mo, I can feel comfortable knowing he's safe and happy, so I can enjoy my time and not be worried. I will definitely have Leah watch him again!

I would like to know how the dog is with other people and with other dogs. I've cared for dogs in the past who are not as familiar with other dogs and can get quickly become overly excited or territorial. Its not a problem if that is the case, I just like to know the comfort level so I know how to handle them on walks! For breed preferences, I absolutely love pitbulls or pit mixes but I really have no strong preference!
A typical day
I like taking dogs on long walks around neighborhoods, or going on runs if the dog is particularly energetic! I am also more than happy to drive or walk to a park if the owner suggests it. I like playing fetch or tug-of-war with dogs. Pretty much whatever makes the dog happy, I'm game!
