My pet-friendly home is close to downtown, so it doesn't take long for me to get home from work and get the dogs to the park! I am a dog lover with many years of experience handling dogs of all behaviour levels. I first got into dog sitting when I lost my last fur baby to cancer, and didn't like the feeling of an empty house. Since then, I rescued Bonnie, and together we enjoy hosting all types of furry friends in our home! I have the luxury of working from home a few days throughout the week, so it minimizes the time your dog is alone without supervision. Bonnie is super affectionate and playful, but, being an abused rescue dog, she is unsure when meeting new people/dogs. Once she's comfortable, she is respectful of other dogs' space and happy to share her home! Bonnie and I are often found walking in West Hillhurst or on our frequent trips to Edworthy Park to hang out with other local dogs. I am also happy to provide: * Updates on your pet while you are away via Skype, text, or photos. * Separated eating areas, sleeping areas, and exercise if required. * Often I post doggy visitor pics on my Twitter page @mill0344

A typical day
Your dog will be in good hands. I walk my own dog three times a day, so yours will enjoy the same benefits. I go for a morning walk around the neighbourhood for approximately 15 minutes in the morning, then a longer 30-60 minute walk around 5 pm in the evening, and a final 15-20 minute walk before bed. If your dog needs more or less walk time, I accommodate that.
