I have taken care of family dogs since I was 15 (so for over 15 years!) and have experience caring for dogs of all ages and in various states of health. I am comfortable caring for dogs of any size as well. I have housesat for cats before as well of various ages and requirements.

Whether the dog/cat is very affectionate or prefers its own space, I can provide the attention they are accustomed to. I am able to care for an animal that requires crating. I also have experience administering oral medications to pets.

I would like to know what your preferences are for you pet's schedule since i would like to try to keep to this schedule as much as possible. If there are certain activities they enjoy or are accustomed to doing that would be helpful as well. Being aware of any triggers that may make your pet scared (like thunder storms or large trucks driving by) or anything that brings out uncharacteristic behavior would be good to know so I can do my best to avoid these stimuli.
A typical day
I enjoy going on hikes/walks in the local parks or in quiet neighborhoods. I have been on walks with dogs at the local beaches that allow dogs. I would also play outside with the dogs in a fenced in area/yard. I am used to high energy pets who require several walks/playtimes per day. I have had family dogs and other pets for most of my life so I enjoy having a furry animal around to play with and spend time with.

Availability
I am a student with a flexible schedule. I am able to care for a dog if you are away and be there for the majority of any day. The longest I am in class for is 4 hours at a time (not every day). I am able to go on long walks as well.
