Love to be your “stand-in” pet mom!
Pet care experience
I love dogs and cats just like human family! Have always had a dog and/or a cat through my entire life. I know all the things lifetime pet owners know regarding pet care. I can offer a lot of love to your pet family while you are away. No worries for you!
Reviews
Our dogs were well cared for and happy when we arrived to pick them up after a 9 day stay. One of our dogs is timid and slow to warm up to people, Leah waited her out and they were besties by the time we picked them up. We got updates from Leah and knew they were safe and happy during our trip.
Leah and her doggie host Clark were wonderful companions for my two dogs while we were out of town for a long weekend. We were worried about our dogs because sometimes they don’t have the best behavior but Leah and Clark took great care of them with no issues. Thanks to you both Leah we really appreciated having a worry-free trip!
Leah’s house and yard were set up great for Pilot and River. The things I liked the most were, there was not a bunch of other dogs there, pictures and communication was excellent . Leah was great to work with and I felt like my dogs were in good hands. Thank you Leah!
Leah was so great with shade! She made us feel so comfortable leaving shade at her house, and I would book with her again in a heart beat. We were updated throughout shades stay and were sent photos which we loved. Clark is also the sweetest boy, he was the perfect play mate for shade while we were away!

I have a good-sized fenced back yard where balls can be thrown and dogs can run a bit. I live a few minutes from a lovely Dog Park that my 3 year old Lab, Clark loves to visit. He also loves walks in the neighborhood. Your pet will be provided love and attention from me while staying in my home and Clark could be a great little canine buddy to pal around with also. I have the ability to keep the dogs separated if need be as well. Clark is good with cats as well. This is something I anticipate loving to do and also brings me additional income. Because it is not my main source of income, I will limit stays to just one family’s pets at a time. This ensures they get plenty of attention while their humans are away and limits their stress of having to be around too many “unknowns.”

Information Leah G. would like to know about your pet
Does your pet require a mid-work day potty break? Is your pet up to date on vaccinations? Behavior issues I need to be aware of? How is your dog with other dogs and or cats? I don’t have a cat, fyi. Is your dog food/toy aggressive? Does your dog chew things like furniture? Does your dog require supervision in a fenced yard? Is it a digger? I mostly just need to know how to keep my pet and your pet safe and happy while they are staying in my care. I want them to come home to you happy!
A typical day
I am new to Rover but routinely walk in my neighborhood by a golf course and go to the local dog park which is several farm-like acres. I love to take dogs on car rides, etc. I do not plan on taking your pet anywhere that is not fenced or co rained unless I will have them on a leash under control. Too much could potentially go wrong and I’m not taking that risk with your pet. I will throw balls and set out sprinklers and show lots of love and affection. I have a few “secret” spots to walk if the dog enjoys car rides!

I work a regular Monday through Friday full-time 8-4 job. I work from home on Tuesday’s and Friday’s and I have the ability to go home at lunch if your pet needs a potty break around the 4 hour marker. The morning is usually just letting pets out in the fenced yard. I usually take my dog for a walk or a visit to the dog park around 5 pm each day. I choose to spend time at home with my dog and whenever I’m home, pets can be inside or outside based on their preferences. Weekends can include an adventure or chilling at home.
