Pet care experience
I’m one of those friends who gets asked to petsit not only because of my connection with animals, but also because of how well liked my pets are. I also have friends ask to keep my dog when I head out of town. Sometimes they just ask if she can sleepover to spend time with their pets.

Leah was very friendly and smiled when ever we meet. My dog Rose was very comfortable with her and her pets. Highly pleased with the overall experience.
Leah has loved animals all her life. She has had a wide variety of pets throughout her life and in fact wanted to be a vet when she was a little girl. She shared that love with one of my best friends and used to go over to her house and help bath and groom her animals when she was 5 or 6. Leah has even saved the life of a momma dog and her puppies when she was a teenager by assisting the momma with a bad delivery. She actually gave CRP to a puppy that the owner ended up giving to her. This just to say that she is calm under pressure and does what it takes to give great care to animals. Leah is one who fosters strays until she can place them in homes. She has a dog and cats of her own but always makes room for an animal that needs a temporary home. Because of her great love for animals I believe she would make a great pet caregiver.
Leah is every pet’s best friend. She’s one of those animal whisperers who genuinely loves animals and they love her right back. She’s always responsible with and aware of our pets’ needs. She’s my first choice when finding someone to watch over our dog, Buddy.

A typical day
I love to play fetch in the backyard and spend time relaxing outdoors. I also love to go for walks at the Nature Station. Some weekends I'll venture out further to Chicot or Palmetto Island.
