Pet care experience
I spent most of my childhood around dogs, in my home and my friends'/family's homes. At this time, I know owning a dog is a big commitment that I'm not financially ready for, which is why I love dog-sitting. I've cared for a variety of animals through the years and have experience caring for dogs, cats, fishes, horses, goats and llamas. I'd be willing to care for any additional animals you may have other than dogs. I've cared for a wide variety of dogs: from greyhounds to chihuahuas, I love them all. Each dog has something different that makes them 'tick,' and I enjoy the process of getting to know all the aspects of a dog's personality. It brings me a lot of joy to spend time with them.

I don't have any breed preferences-- all sizes and temperaments are fine with me! Before I dog-sit a pup, I like to know some basic information about them, such as: when they're usually fed, how much, if they need medication, when to administer medication, how they like to get exercise, and any special training or routines that the owner usually does with them. I think it's important to keep their routine as stable as possible while dog-sitting, and any information that can help me do that is essential.
A typical day
I love going on long walks, and would be happy to take the dog out somewhere near their home for exercise. If the dog is familiar/comfortable with off-leash parks, I'd be happy to take them to Magnuson as well! If they're more of a couch potato, then that's great too!
