Hello, I'm Leah and I am a very enthusiastic animal lover! I grew up with four German Shepherds, so you can say I am very comfortable with large breed dogs. I also used to work at an animal hospital as ab Animal car Assistant and Kennel Attendant So, really, any breed is fine with me! :) I would love to help with anyone who is need of a trusting person to care for their little loved one while they're away for any reason! I worked in an animal hospital for seven years as an animal care assistant and a kennel attendant and have had experience with pet sitting and dog walking for 12 years. The skills that qualify me as a quality pet sitter in my eyes are; Making the well being of your beloved pet my top priority. Making sure your pet has fresh water at all times and is fed at the appropriate times. Walking, playing and exercising pets multiple times a day. Knowing what a medical emergency is and what to do when one occurs. First-aid administration. Administering medication subcutaneous, in muscle, and by mouth. Always giving lots of love, care and attention!! Why I love dog sitting; I have loved dogs since I can remember. I grew up with a Rottweiler when I was younger. We also had adopted and fostered different dogs as well. It wasn't until I was 10 when we had gotten our first German Shepherd. Soon after that we acquired 3 more. As sad as it is they have all passed and now there is a new generation in my family. Their names are Xena and Blue. I also have worked in an animal hospital for 7 years.
