Pet care experience
I love animals and seeing how each has it's own unique personality. I am looking forward to getting to know you and your pets as I care for them. I have been caring for animals all my life as I grew up on a small hobby farm and raised everything from ducks to horses, from goats to golden retrievers. Our sweet longhair cat loved to snuggle and the rabbit would only calm down for me to hold her. When I was in high school family friends hired me to take care of their hobby farm whenever they were out of town. I learned how to muck a horse stall, keep sheep from running away, and take care of nice older lab with arthritis. Currently I have a mini golden doodle with a funny and affectionate personality. If she isn't trying to get some snuggle time then we are out for a walk, a run, or playing fetch.

I am very very picky about who I leave my pets with, especially my pups because they can be a lot to handle sometimes, and I 100% trust Leah and could not recommend her enough! During drop in visits I can let your pet outside (if appropriate), make sure they have water and food (if needed), play with toys, or even just chill out and give them some human time. My dog is well behaved and loves meeting new people and animals. I can bring her along on house visits and walks or I can give your pet individual attention, whichever you prefer.

I would like to know how friendly or shy your pet is so that he/she can be more comfortable when we meet. What and when do they eat? What do they like doing (fetch, walks, brushing, playing, chilling out)? How do they do with other dogs and strangers? I would also love to hear if they would like to meet my dog or if individual attention is the best.
A typical day
I am happy to be with your pet in whatever they enjoy doing. I am active and like to go for walks, play fetch, or entertain your pet with toys. I am also happy to simply hang out and be with your pet.

I would love to regularly walk or drop in and play with your pet. But, I am also open to one time or irregular visits. I am a military spouse with a flexible schedule and JBER access. I can drop by any time during the week and on weekends.
