I have always had dogs in my life and have spent more and more time dog-sitting and house-sitting all sorts and sizes of pups. I have recently fostered a pit-mix for 6 weeks, stayed with a weimaraner pup for 4 days while his family was away, boarded a teecup poodle and have lavished affection on all creatures which cross my path. I have an incredibly flexible schedule, so text or call me to work out logistics! I work from home right now, so the longest I might be away is 3 hours at a time if I have an errand, appointment, meeting, etc. Otherwise I am around and available to check on, hang out with, walk or run your dog. I am open to learning whatever training you use with your dog and can adapt to those techniques. I have adopted a positive-reinforcement model of encouragement, offering verbal praise and communication as often as possible. But I will certainly keep your dog safe, as well as doing all I can to ensure your dog has stress-free encounters in the world, with other dogs and humans.
