Pet care experience
I have taken care of my own personal pet since I was 17. Always had a pet in the home before that as well. I love dogs and cats. I have been keeping my friends pets for them for 5 years now. Available full time. I can do long term commitments/weekly schedule/flexible. I do love schedules so if you want a set schedule that is ideal! I unfortunately cannot offer boarding or pet sitting in my home but I am more than happy to check on your fur babies, take them out for potty breaks and walks, clean litter boxes, bathing and feeding.

Leah is always so gentle and patient with my two fur babies. They love seeing her and spending time around her! I highly recommend her!
Leah watched and cared for our shih tzu many times. Holly was a "senior" dog. She couldn't see well and couldn't hear. Leah was very attentive. Often she would have to give Holly her medications. Leah is responsible and mindful of details. Highly recommended!
Leah was the perfect sitter for our babies. We were really nervous of leaving them with a complete stranger but she made sure they felt at home. She kept us updated and was always sending pictures. She allowed us to drop off our kennel a couple days before and had it set up and ready for us to take
My Great Dane, Teddy had a blast with Leah! She did a great job of taking him on walks, sending photos and updates, and giving him all of the love and attention he craves. Great Danes are not always easy to take care of (think cleaning up massive #2’s, putting together a massive crate, slobber every time they eat and drink) but she did it flawlessly! I was most impressed with how much she loved on him and made him feel right at home, just like I would. I would 100% recommend Leah no matter what size dog you have! ❤️?

I do prefer we have a meet and greet first, I find it’s a more successful arraignment when the pet trusts me before the owner leaves them in my care. I will never bring my dog or child into your home or on a joint walk unless you have specifically given me the okay to have your pet around other pets/children. I take pet safety extremely seriously and will always do my best to care for and protect your pet like it is my own.

I like to meet your dog first just to be sure they know me and my smell. I like to know any aggressive history (towards animals or people) you may have experienced with your dog. My neighborhood does have other dogs present on leashes, and it would be very hard to keep an aggressive dog from lashing out. I need to know what or if any medications they are on or diet/allergy restrictions.
A typical day
I will do whatever routine you already have in place for your pet. If we are on our walk then I will be sure they are properly leashes and take them about their normal walk. I don’t like to travel with others pets unless requested by parents. I will take them to their favorite dog park or walking trail if that is what the owner prefers.
